The Taj Mahal lives up to the hype. 

I've seen the Pyramids, Machu Picchu and a host of the world's wonders, and I've visited the Taj 5 times. It's stunning. It moves me.
A marble mausoleum made by a husband for his wife, meticulously inlaid with semi precious florals, the weather and light change the shade of the stone as the day progresses.

We'll spend plenty of time at the monument, and our hotel rooms offer incredible views upon waking and before sleeping. We'll even dine on a rooftop overlooking the spectacle at sunset. 

The best part? We'll depart this iconic Indian site on the most Indian of holidays: Holi, where Agra's boys will be busy throwing colored powder on everyone and everything.
