Chandigarh, conceived as a Modernist Utopia by Le Corbusier, is a perfect overnight on our northern India roadtrip. 

In addition to Le Corbusier's iconic Palace of the Assembly, Punjab and Haryana High Court, and Open Hand Monument and numerous others, we'll view the Gandhi Bhawan, a major landmark designed by Pierre Jeanneret, Le Corbusier's cousin. It's an auditorium hall in the middle of a water pond. Indian architects have also contributed to the stunning cityscape.
